Hi there, I’m Katie Pietsch- The “KP” in KP Imagery. I serve the Minneapolis/ St. Paul, Minnesota area, and beyond!
I am here to capture authentic moments and creative imagery. I love taking wedding photos but it shouldn’t be center stage of your day, you should be!
Every photo I take is intentional and reflects the essence of the person in front of my lens. To do this, I help create memories instead of stiff posed photos and lean into a more artistic, cinematic style to capture the emotion of the day.
We had such a great experience having Katie as our wedding photographer. She was the calm and flexible energy we needed on a stressful day. My spouse does not like having their picture taken, and Katie managed this well and didn’t judge or take it personally. Not to mention the pictures are incredibly beautiful, and we will treasure them for a lifetime.

What is an intimate wedding?
An intimate wedding is one with a curated experience. It is often smaller, and just close family and friends. More importantly, it is focused on connecting with those most dear to you. I am there to capture the relational moments and emotion of the day.
What is Cinematic style?
Cinematic photography focuses on story telling . Through artistic and intentional composition it captures the emotion and sincerity of your wedding day.

and book your curated wedding experience
Step 1: Inquire
Inquire and tell me what thoughts you have about your wedding day and the experience you want. I'll respond with an expert guide that fits what you're looking for.
Step 2: Call
We will hop on a call and get to know each other more. I'll tell you about what it will look like for me to be your photographer and answer any questions you have.
Step 3: Book
When you book with me I make sure you are choosing the package that aligns with your vision. A deposit and signed contract secures your date.
Step 4: Final Meeting
About a month out from your wedding day we will meet up and go over the details of your day. We will finalize the schedule and how you want photography to play into your day.
Step 5: The Wedding Day
Everything is setup and ready to go. You show up and I'll handle the rest! I'm ready to capture your day in an authentic and artistic way.
Step 6: Gallery Delivery
Within a couple days of your wedding you will receive some preview images of your gallery. Then, a couple months later, I'll finish editing all of your photos and deliver your full online gallery!

Why wedding photography?
Photography brings me joy and fulfillment. I can’t stop doing it. I have to hold myself back from editing on the weekends because I’m so excited to bring to life the session I just completed.
I am particularly fond of wedding photography. It is one of the most important days of someone's life and to be the one capturing it is the highest honor. I enjoy documenting the emotion and love of the day.
